Gtx 1080 Black Screen Fans 100 Geforce Driver

So I was just playing a game and my screens went black and the fans on my card went to max, i restarted and whatever game i open it happens, any ideas what information technology is?

It shows no sign happening my monitors too, all 3.

My setup is :

I7-6700k
16gb ram
Gtx 1080
windows 10

if its evga card youre fucked they are low but they said they will supervene upon them so look into that if non a evga placard you probably have a bad card simply warrant should cover it.

from your explanation it just crashes when you are protrusive a game? In that event i would first strain to update my gfx card drivers, there are some recent hotfix drivers dead as the last official ones had several issues. (too thermonuclear warhea the old ones with DDU from the guru3d site)

If that does not help it could possibly live a defective card, only it could also be PSU related.

Well it happened after almost an time of day of play the first meter. then after that i couldnt start a gamy without it happening, then IT would lease Maine open a game and do information technology after 10 proceedings.

Ive swapped to a scrimpy 980 ti i had and its fine, if its the psu would it show up with that?

Yes you have to have the 1080 card in your pc and then check for updates.

When you upgraded to the 1080 did you purpose DDU or another similar puppet to remove your used graphics cards drivers? If non, I highly suggest doing that, it will expected solve your issue.

I didnt lie with no, but I do have a backup 980 ti, so when i swapped them terminated i utilised ddu to replace the drivers.

So a little update, i spent death night performin the gamey that caused it to fall out first (Xenoverse 2) and it has been fine, ive been using the 1080 with the 980 ti drivers, maybe i should use ddu to remove them and assign in the 1080 drivers?

If it keeps giving you issues after wiping it with DDU and using the latest drivers or IT simply returns, I'd underclock the card by 100 on both retentivity and core then set an hostile devotee curve to see if IT's just running too secured or too hot in something wish MSI Afterburner. Sometimes you just lose the silicone lottery careless of the brand.

If you do want to RMA information technology, Gigabyte doesn't care who bought information technology since they rightful rich person a general x year limit and go by the serial number. If you die here, you can sign up and get all that baggage out of the way in the event that you have to.

Yeah I checked information technology, it didnt need updating
